Gold price today at 46,620 rupees per 10 grams, silver in trend at 63,000 per kg

The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold rose Rs 400 to Rs 46,620 on Saturday. In the previous trade, gold had closed at Rs 46,220 per 10 grams.

According to the Good Returns website, silver sold for 63,000 rupees per kg, a decrease of 200 rupees from the previous trade.

The price of gold jewelry varies in India, the second largest consumer of the metal, due to excise duties, government taxes and fees.

In New Delhi and Mumbai, 10 grams of gold were sold for 46,550 rupees and 46,620 rupees, respectively. In Chennai, the yellow metal sells for 44,840 rupees, according to the website.

The rate of 24 karat gold also increased by Rs 400 to Rs 47,620 per 10 grams.

In New Delhi, the price of gold is 50,780 rupees per 10 grams (24 carats), while in Mumbai it is 47,620 rupees.
