Tao Group Opens 5 Venues at Lower East Side Moxy Hotel – Robb Report

The Lower East Side is about to get a lot busier: Tao Group Hospitality is preparing to open five new venues in the area, ranging from restaurants to bars to full-fledged nightclubs.

The spots, which will open in late October or November, are located at the forthcoming Moxy Hotel Page Six reported on Monday. These include Sake No Hana contemporary Japanese restaurant, Highlight Room Rooftop Lounge, Silver Lining Piano Lounge, Fix Lobby Café/Bar and Loosie’s nightclub.

“Downtown New York City has always been known as a crossroads of entertainment and an incubator for creatives,” Tao Group CEO Noah Tepperberg told Page Six. “Our latest offering stays true to that reputation by bringing together five unique restaurants and nightclubs under one roof.”

Tao Group, behind a number of prominent hotspots including Tao, Marquee and Cathédrale, will bring some of the high energy it’s known for to its new ventures. A source told Page Six that Loosie’s in particular will have an atmosphere “reminiscent of the clubs of the ’90s and early 2000s.” The Silver Lining, on the other hand, will be an intimate cocktail lounge serving creative drinks to be enjoyed on long velvet banquettes. And you can take the elevator up 16 floors to the Highlight Room, which offers stunning views of the New York skyline.

In terms of food, Sake No Hana serves izakaya dishes in a dramatic space. And the Fix offers all-day dining alongside coffee and drinks you might want to enjoy over the Ms. Pac-Man table.

The Moxy Lower East Side, which will be located at the intersection of Broome and Bowery streets, is currently under construction and will have 303 guest rooms when it opens. While many guests will likely want to explore all that New York has to offer, they also don’t need to venture too far to experience the city’s food, drink, and nightlife.

A night out followed by a quick elevator ride to your bed? It doesn’t get much better.
